As wedding season kicks off, here are a few quick reminders from a DJ’s perspective to help your outdoor ceremony go smoothly! 🌤️ 1. Plan for power – Make sure your DJ has access to power, or has been told in advance if there isn’t any. (We can bring battery backup generators just in case.) 2. Think about lighting – Be mindful of where the sun will be so you’re not dealing with harsh shadows or uneven lighting in your photos and video. 3. Keep guests comfortable – Heat can be a real issue. Provide water, fans, or shade to keep everyone safe and enjoying the moment. 4. Prep for the elements – Have sunscreen and bug spray on hand, especially for the wedding party spending extended time outdoors. 5. Have a backup plan – Weather is unpredictable. A solid plan B will make sure your day stays perfect, no matter what. A little preparation goes a long way in making your outdoor ceremony as effortless as it is beautiful.

This company is my true passion, and I wanted to give you a little inside look at what it means to me. Good Times is so much more than just an entertainment company. We’ve grown from me DJing weddings on my own to a team of talented DJs with different styles, music interests, and strong connections in our community. From the beginning, the goal was simple. We wanted to be the fun DJs. The ones people remember not just for the music, but for the energy and personality we bring to every event. We love entertaining. We love bringing joy to your crowd. We love getting creative and keeping the dance floor absolutely packed. Honestly, you’re the reason this job is so much fun. This year has been record-breaking for us. We’re celebrating over 100 weddings this summer, hosting weekly events at local bars and restaurants, and building partnerships with businesses and venues that I’m incredibly proud of.
